The book has two parts (I) A Study of the Varlik Vergisi or Capital Tax Law which was accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly in November 1942 and applied on a discriminatory and arbitrary basis against non Muslim minorities and (II) selected documents from various foreign archives concerning the same law. 424 pages.
