Yusuf from Kuyucak

This book is the translated version of Sabahattin Ali's original Kuyucaklı Yusuf.Kuyucaklı Yusuf (Yusuf from Kuyucak) is the first novel of Sabahattin Ali, who was known as a short story writer until then, and was published in 1937. Yusuf, the the main character of the book, is considered one of the most romantic characters in Turkish literature. The novel is included in the list of 100 Basic Works recommended by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey to secondary school students. The novel was adapted to the cinema with the same name by Feyzi Tuna in 1985.
