Fiona Maye is a well-respected and successful High Court judge in London presiding over cases in family court. Her marriage is less successful, and her husband leaves after she rejects the notion of an open marriage. Whilst dealing with a pressing case where a child has been refused a blood transfusion, Fiona questions her notion of marriage.
