Tales of Hazard

<p>Tales of Hazard is the only record of some unique broadcasts organised by the BBC in the summer of 1932, under the title of the 'Hazard Series'. </p><p>Each broadcast was given by a man who had risked his life fighting for his country or was simply fighting to stay alive in the face of uneven odds. </p><p>They are extraordinary first-hand accounts of true bravery and derring-do and will prompt you to consider how ordinary and safe most of our lives have now become. </p><p>This Daredevil Books edition includes carefully selected photographs and illustrations, and we are indebted to John Blashford-Snell CBE, no stranger to danger himself, for his perceptive preface on the nature of bravery. </p>
