The Angler's Book of British Sea Fish

This book is a reference guide for anglers to the many species of saltwater fish that can be caught around the British Isles. Illustrated in full colour, the distribution, habitats and diet of all 147 species currently listed in the official British records are provided, together with the boat and shore records at the time of publication.The minimum size limits for keeping fish set by the EU and the Inshore Fishery and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs), are listed in the chapter on 'keeping the fish you catch'.Endangered species are also listed, together with the sizes at which fish spawn to enable anglers to help with conservation of fish stocks by returning fish that have not reached maturity.
