Vita Nuova showcases Hrabal’s legendary</p> <p>bohemian intellectual life, particularly his relationship with Vladimír</p> <p>Boudník. Hrabal creates a shrewd, lively portrait of Eastern European</p> <p>intellectual life in the mid-twentieth century.</p>
