your favorite book tells me a lot about you. mine is Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. 1/ it's a wonderfully written, long fantasy book about magic with deep lore that we only get a peek of 2/ there's a tv adaptation that recognizes and compl(e/i)ments the book so well- superb actors that give the characters (who are already so complex and interesting) a wholeness that makes me forget that they aren't real 3/ I might be biased because I love the characters but it's a great title! 4/it has footnotes!!! I love books with footnotes 🤍 give me those academic annotations yasss 5/ it's written by a woman. idk, that's just plus points for me ok that's all I can think of for now.
