This book contains an English translation of China’s documentation of accountancy laws that was adopted several times before by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. Its most recent issue date was October 31, 1999, and was made effective as of July 1, 2000. The accountancy laws cover accounting personnel, supervision, and special provisions on companies and enterprises’ accounting computation.
