An ancient book for divining demons, the Necronomicon allows its user to bring hell to Earth, and human sacrifice is the required offering. Written in 1928, The Dunwich Horror was first published in the April 1929 issue of Weird Tales.. It is considered one of the core stories of the Cthulhu Mythos.
