All Quiet on the Western Front, Classics Illustrated

All Quiet on the Western Front begins somewhere near the German/French front during World War One. It is told by a 19 year old soldier Paul Baumer. Through his own experiences in trench warfare and the incredible loss of life of his friends, classmates and teachers, Paul is overwhelmed by the complete hopelessness of war. Beautifully adapted by Kevin W. Fitch and Maurice del Bourgo with restorations by Shane Kirshenblatt.
