This book is part comical and part a serious novelette about the move of those 55+ to senior citizen communities in Florida. It is a compilation of experiences by a group of complete strangers, in a new place needing to become modern but aged pioneers. They do not use covered wagons, instead they rely on golf carts. The intermingling of differences in past culture presents an intersting amalgamtion of newness that is refreshing and informative. Part of the story is auto-biographical and most of it is a retale of happenings to a real group of seniors.
