Cleansed

This play concerns the inhabitants of an institution under the control of a psychiatrist named Tinker. Each inmate is in love with another, but Tinker tortures the inmates by sadistically testing each love to find its limits. The play focuses on the central question: what is the most that one lover can truthfully promise another?
