When Doctor John Hyde Hillman started a modest school for boys, on the bank of the Hudson River, at Orstead, the town barely crept to the one brick building that contained dormitory and recitationrooms. But that was nearly twenty years ago, and to-day the place is no longer isolated, but stands well inside the residence section of the village.
