A new edition of Welsh master-of-horror Arthur Machen's 1922 novel, The Secret Glory, considered by many to be Machen's final masterpiece, the story of a public-school boy who becomes fascinated by tales of the Holy Grail and escapes from his repressive school in search of a deeper meaning to life.<br/><br/>Arthur Machen (1863 – 1947) was the pen-name of Welsh writer Arthur Llewellyn Jones, one of the best known and most influential authors of supernatural, fantasy, and horror fiction. He is best known for his novella The Great God Pan (1890), considered by many to the “best horror story in the English language.”
