About the Author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is best remembered for the creation of Sherlock Holmes, the world’s most famous fictional detective, though in his lifetime Doyle also penned essays, poems, short stories, science fiction, nonfiction, historical novels, political treatises, and lectures on Spiritualism.
