The Case of Jenny Brice

Jennie Brice, an actress in a local theater company has disappeared, and so has the man who said he was her husband. The river has flooded the town and the landlady of the boarding house suspects the woman has been murdered by her husband. A classic Rinehart mystery, with a first person narrator who makes her own deductions and with the help of a detective eventually finds the truth is stranger than her suppositions.
