The King and the Archbishop were there, cheerfully riding together. A cross was borne before them, and a voice from heaven said, Whosoever can touch this cross, and place on it pure gold and precious stones - their names shall be written in the Book of Life. Then the Archbishop placed gold in great quantity and precious stones on the crown that was above the cross.
