Overview

Thank you for picking up a copy of SNIPP, the ultimate paper kit for crafters, scrap bookers and art lovers alike. These snippets of art, textures and design came from years of searching for great images to use in zines, publications and other art projects. After years of photocopying, scanning art books and searching out public domain images I've compiled my favourites into books meant to be cut up, photocopied and used however you want.Van Gogh (1853 - 1890)A Dutch post-impressionist artist, Van Gogh created an extensive body of work in his lifetime and highly influenced the art of the 20th century. He is most know for the emotional rough beauty of his art which many attribute to his struggle with mental illness and anxiety, the same struggles that may have brought his life to an early end at the age of 37. It is speculated that he took his own life by gunshot, although a weapon was never found. At the time of his death his work wasn't widely know and we are lucky to live in a time where he is celebrated as one of the greatest. This art continues to inspire and I encourage you to use it in your own crafty projects. All of the images in this book exist in the public domain and aren't subject to copyright laws. You may use them for personal or commercial use without permission from SNIPP or the artists depicted in these collections.Enjoy this copy of SNIPP to the fullest and remember, "it's what you make of it!"
