My Friend Has Down's Syndrome

My friend has Down's syndrome is a sensitively written story about two children who meet at a summer Fun Club. A warm friendship develops between them as the young narrator comes to understand Ella's Down's syndrome. Both girls learn that everybody is good at something, and that by helping each other overcome their fears and difficulties, they can accomplish a great deal.
