John Reed and the Russian Revolution Uncollected Articles, Letters, and Speeches on Russia, 1917-1920

John Reed was a foreign correspondent in Europe during First World War, and returned to Russia in September 1917 where he became one of the very few western eyewitnesses of the Bolshevik seizure of power in November. In addition to his classic account of the revolution, Ten Days that Shook the World, he wrote numerous articles and letters about the events in Russia which add greatly to our understanding of Reed, and shed important new light on the revolution.
