Overview

INROCK is a fantasy story in the same tradition as Alice in Wonderland that can be read by both children and adults. It concerns Jason, a young boy who disappears into INROCK, a mysterious subterranean world that exists inside the rocks. He enters it through one of the megaliths in the prehisoric stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire. The world of INROCK is peopled with strange, frightening and comic creatures with whom Jason experiences a marvellous, perilous adventure. The creatures are illustrated in the book by Desmond Morris. The book is Morris's only published work of fiction and this new, enlarged and illustrated version is being produced in a strictly limited hardback edition.
