Desmond Morris is best known as the author of 60 scientific books, but in a completely different sphere he has also been an active surrealist for 70 years, during which time he has produced more than 2500 paintings. by contrast, his surrealist writings have been rare, with a total of only 80 poems surviving from the same time period. All of these are collected here and are accompanied by a recent suite of paintings made during the final quarter of 2013.
