Lady Artists, Society of, 48, Great Marlborough-st, W.--Pictures are received for exhibition about the gth and iothof February, and the exhibition opens on the first or second Monday in March. Works of nonmembers in oil or water-colour are received subject to the approval of the committee, and space _ permitting. Works of professional artists are received free. Nonprofessional exhibitors pay a fee of half-a-guinea for the placing of one or two pictures: for more than two, one guinea. Copies in watercolour, only of high merit, will be received and. exhibited, space permitting. Exhibitors are charged 10 per cent, on the price of works sold. The costume life classes in connection with the society begin during the first week of the exhibition, and are held on Tu. and Fri. from 1 till 5. Instructor, W. H/iFiske, Esq.; Visitor, George D.
