The opinion of readers comment on everything about this great book by the author: "I never thought that the epistolary genre was going to catch me so much, perhaps I attribute it to the fact that some works by Hesse that I have read such as the steppe wolf were floating in the nebula to put it in some way without trying to close some ideas. But when reading Selected Letters I not only discovered a unique being not only as an artist but also that he made me better understand his works and want to read them again. I recommend this book either before reading any of his works to go already knowing how plentiful the waters will be or to delve into his works and then culminate with selected letters (which I am sure that, as happened to me, the need for rereading invades) .
