Cliff Richard and Eric Morecambe

John Eric Bartholomew, OBE, born on14th May 1926, Morecambe, Lancashire, England, UK, known by his stage name of Eric Morecambe, was a comedian who together with Ernie Wise, formed the double act Morecambe and Wise that lasted from 1941 until Morecambe's death on May 28th 1984. Eric took his stage name from his home town, the seaside resort of Morecambe in Lancashire.
