She published 20 novels and 500 short stories during her lifetime and was the first woman to be named a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.<br/><br/>Kate Handford is a classically trained actress who is based in London. She trained first at Ryerson Theatre School in her home country of Canada and then later at London's Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She can be seen on stage, television, and film, and her voice-acting can be heard on audiobooks such as Cara Hoffman's Running and Hillary Manton Lodge's Jane of Austin.
