The year is 2076. The planet is Earth. The trouble -- rain. Unexpected storms are striking cities across the planet with the same terrible result -- human minds stolen. FORTIA, the army of the world, discovers that Earth is being bombarded by a powerful ray coming from Suffes, a distant planet circling a dying star. Efforts to block the ray fail. Health care units fill up with adults turned into helpless infants. FORTIA decides on a daring plan: time travel. Sending a ship through a time warp will enable it to reach Suffes in three days. Since the crew will still age, teenagers are chosen. Captain Ron Viacom has simple instructions: stop the rain. Try reason first. If reason fails, destroy Suffes. Ron is 14. When he lands on Suffes, he will be 30.
