Bill Haley and His Comets were a rock 'n' roll band, founded in Chester, Pennsylvania, US, during 1952, continuing until Haley's death in 1981, who were also known as Bill Haley and the Comets and Bill Haley's Comets. Between late 1954 - late 1956, they had 9 singles in the Top 20, including a chart-topper, with 3 more hitting the Top Ten.
