Atonement

An Inspector Rebus short story. Visiting old colleague, Ken Flatley, in an Edinburgh nursing home brings home to Rebus that he, too, is getting older. Finding Ken troubled by the fact that several of the apparently healthy people in the home have suddenly died, and to put his mind to rest, rebis promises to dig around to see if someone is doing some drastic bed-clearing.
