
Crowley's lengthy treatise on Magick and Meditation, originally printed as two volumes of Book 4. It is the essence of Aleister Crowley's system of occult practice and wisdom, synthesised from Eastern Yoga, Hermeticism, medieval grimoires, contemporary magical writings by Eliphas Levi and Helena Blavatsky, as well as his own writings. In the first part of the book, dealing with meditation, we learn Crowley's system of yoga which is designed to both quiet the mind and enable hyper focused concentration. In the second part, "Magick", we learn Crowley's essentials on magick including the accessories of ceremonial magick in great detail, rituals, and a meanings including the temple, the magick circle, the altar, the scourge, dagger, and chain, the holy oil, the wand, cup, sword, pentacle, lamp, crown, robe, book, bell, lamen, and the Magick Fire.
