Student edition of Pirandello's classic drama in which the characters of a play that has not been written act out the key events of their lives in order to escape their mysterious situation. Includes notes, background to the play and discussion of various interpretations. Luigi Pirandello achieved acclaim for plays such as "Absolutely Perhaps" and "Six Characters in Search of an Author," winning the Nobel Prize for literature in 1934. He died in Rome in 1936.
